Dieselpunk Rifle II

I enjoy G3s. I own one for airsofting. I know there are wood variants of the G3. But I wanted to try to make this look more dieselpunky and loved.
Like the AK-47ish one I did, the lower receiver and stock are meant to be the same as that on the G3.

When I was originally fiddling around with how to dieselpunk this into my platform world, I wanted it to be a SAW but without a box or drum magazine. That is why the magazine is longer than that of a G3. I settled for a larger stick magazine over larger magazine that a SAW might have. The irons are supposed to be a V, U or perhaps a trident-V-shaped thingy.

Not sure if I want to make this one into an airsoft gun. Not really sure how to do the hand-guard.
Also! Purple fire-selector labels! Might make the airsoft version when my G3 breaks. Just for those.
